Dr. med. Mark A. Wolter
During his days at medical school while receiving surgery training, Dr. Wolter already began to focus on aesthetic plastic and hand surgery. He has now been performing surgery in the field since 1996. Having completed his final examinations, Dr. Wolter dedicated himself to a further year of aesthetic surgery training in Brazil under Professor Pitanguy (among others) and Professor Dr. Mang of the Bodenseeklinik in Lindau to acquire the expertise he holds today.
As a plastic surgeon, he went on to open his own practice in Berlin and specialized solely in aesthetic surgery from this point forward. Dr. Wolter continues to cooperate with the Bodenseeklinik, and in doing so, he and Dr. Mang hold a yearly convention in Berlin for aesthetic plastic surgeons. Dr. Wolter is also a member of several national and international aesthetic plastic surgery associations and functions as a consultant for the Patients Union (Patientenhilfsbund). Dr. Wolter carries out minor operations in his practice in Berlin. Major operations are either performed in the pleasant atmosphere of the Parksanatorium Dahlem or in a modern outpatient surgical clinic.
Dr. Wolter’s specialty fields are facial surgery (face and browlifts, eyelid corrections), breast enlargement, abdominal liposculpture, and liposuction on all areas (full leg area, arms, abdomen, hips, douple chin, enlarged male breasts, sweat glands).
He also performs thigh and upper arm tucks, sweat gland liposuction, scar correction and minor, general surgical procedures. Wrinkle treatment with botulinum toxin (known as Botox®/Dysport®), hyaluronic acid (known as Hylaform®, Restylane®, Hyal-System®) or collagen are all non-operative treatments offered in Dr. Wolter’s practice.
Trust is important in the world of aesthetic surgery. You can be assured that all operations and corrections are carried out by Dr. Wolter himself; patients are never left in the hands of an assistant for any part of an operation.
To ensure proper communication and avoid misunderstandings between the patient and surgeon, you also receive thorough consultation by Dr. Wolter in person, aimed at achieving surgical results that not only please the surgeon’s sense of medical precision, but also meet the patient’s expectations. Dr. Wolter’s team consists of excellently trained personnel, and he uses only first-class equipment and materials. With breast enlargements, for example, implants from only the best reputed companies world-wide are used.
Otolaryngological operations such as nose corrections (rhinoplasty) and ear pinning (otoplasty) are performed by highly experienced otolaryngologists, all of which have carried out thousands of such operations. These operations are performed in Berlin, where patients receive a first consultation and follow-up treatment from Dr. Wolter, who also assists during surgery.
All breast reductions and breast tucks (mastoplexy) are performed by Dr. Wolter in cooperation with an experienced plastic surgeon.
For hair transplantations, Dr. Wolter works with a specialist surgeon dedicated to performing surgery in this one field only.
Achieving cooperation between specialists is one of the main goals of large associations such as the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, to which Dr. Wolter has contributed as member of the board, as well as of the German Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (Gesellschaft für Ästhetische Chirurgie Deutschland e.V. (GÄCD)), to which Dr. Wolter is a senior member. Thanks to the work of these groups, the best possible surgical results are ensured, as each member surgeon is highly experienced and performs his or her specialty operations frequently on a regular basis.
