Wrinkle Treatment (using injectable materials)

Facial lines and wrinkles, particularly those around the cheeks, neckline and neck can be significantly reduced using natural hyaluronic acid (Hyal-System®, Élastence®), which is injected directly into the skin. This increases the skin's moisture content and elasticity, which lessens wrinkles and, in slight cases, even completely smoothes wrinkled areas. The treatment is most effective on young or middle-aged patients with subtle skin depression as is caused by smoking or sun bathing.

The treatment requires three initial injections at two-week intervals and a follow-up session carried out every three to four months thereafter to retain achieved results. There are no significant side effects in using this natural, metabolizable substance and no allergy testing is necessary. Following treatment, small, palpable knots under the skin will be visible. After one to two days, these disappear and the patient is able to resume a normal social life. Hematomas are rare, but can be easily concealed with makeup if they occur.
