Laser treatment is especially effective in treating couperose (see couperose), strawberry marks, port-wine stains, tattoos, age marks, and minor facial lines.

Laser treatment, although effective, is often overrated. It does not produce the same results as an eyelid correction or facelift.

Treatment often causes reddening of the skin, which can last up to months and sometimes results in permanent white marks that can only be covered by make-up.
