Glasses (optical)

Following a nose operation the patient should refrain from wearing glasses and switch to contact lenses, at least temporarily until the cartilage has fully healed. In general, sunglasses are a useful tool after a facial operation, especially eyelid operations.

If you do not wish to wear glasses for aesthetic reasons or find them inconvenient, you may choose to undergo laser therapy—a recognized vision correction treatment that has been practised for over ten years. Using Lasik®, the cornea is treated in just seconds, and in a matter of a few days, the patient gains 20/20 vision, and glasses are no longer needed. If your vision has not changed within the past two years and is between a range of -2 to -6 diopters, you are an ideal patient for this treatment.
