Bruising

Minor bruising is a normal reaction to surgery and requires no treatment. Skin discoloration usually subsides within ten to fourteen days after surgery. It is, however, essential that cases of extensive bruising be discussed with your doctor, as sometimes suction is required to ensure good surgery results (also see Hematoma).
